Oct. 23rd, 2004: The first half of this workshop will be a panel of local, published authors sharing their work habits and the tools they have developed for themselves that support their success as writers. They will tell you what kinds of structures they use to organize their thoughts and express their ideas and stay on a time line when writing. You will learn what a book plan is and what you need to know about yourself and your book to be able to create one. Oct. 24th, 2004: In the second half of the workshop, you will develop your own book plan. You will leave the workshop with a plan, mapping out the steps that you must take to have your book finished in one year. You will also have the opportunity to join a writer's group with other workshop participants in order to help one another to stay committed to your plans and FINISH THAT BOOK.
