I am looking at Monte Enbysk's Tips for an Effective Contact Us Page as something of a checklist. Like every page of a website, the contact page is a synthesis of what you want and what your visitor wants. Ideally, it will serve both ends.

GrantCraft has published yet another wonderful guide for grantmakers, this one on The Effective Exit: Managing the End of a Funding Relationship. The best thing about this guide is the way it normalizes the exit process. I found the section on communicating with grantees especially useful. Recommendations include: Provide some context. Get everyone on the same page. Be consistent yourself. Explain the prospects for future funding. Talk about exiting early and often. Get ahead of the anxiety.

I just recently came across Liam Mahoney's report entitled Side by Side: Protecting and Encouraging Threatened Activists with Unarmed International Accompaniment (useful cover page for 24 page PDF), published by New Tactics in Human Rights. The report looks at the strategy of sending people to stay by the side of local activists around the world when they are threatened by oppressive regimes, with an emphasis on how to scale up this effective practice.
