Microsoft special discount fund to undermine open source

Although my previous post about Microsoft's donation strategy has vanished behind a paid link at Financial Times, new information continues to come to light. It looks like Microsoft has set up a special fund for software discounts and donations, the purpose of which is to undermine open source usage.
