Email advertising is decreasing in its effectiveness, according to new research. But I think the methodology is flawed. Just look at the language. It's all about advertising. What has really happened is that the amount of spam and other stupid email has increased, which makes the deeply permission based email (which is still the majority of nonprofit email) into a much smaller proportion.
