In the last year, hundreds of nonprofit organizations have launched email newsletters, many of them in response to our research and writing on the power of electronic mail. But for some reason many seem able to repeat, in email, the very same mistakes that email was meant to avoid. I sometimes think it's because they are more interested in the content than in the relationships. I hope that Anthony Quinn's wonderful piece on Why Your eMail Newsletter Annoys Your Readers will help set some of them straight.
